How to pick a good eyelash stylist....(Continued)

3.  Ask what kind of lashes do they use?
The answer would be synthetic lashes, mink or silk.
4.  Is it a one to one application?
I am finding that salons are using "flairs" or "tabs".  This product can be bought at CVS or Walgreens.  There are five lashes joined together.  Looks like a fan of lashes. These are being applied with semi-permanent glue.  They will pull out your lashes because they are not meant to be applied with the semi-permanent glue.  "Flairs" should only be worn for a short period of time.

  1. Hi Kyle,

I've always wondered what the lashes look like. I have straight and someone brittle lashes -- my lashes seem to be sensitive to touch and tend to fall off easily. How will lash extensions look on someone like me with naturally straight lashes?

    Thanks for the info.

  2. Hi Huong....
I have done a lot of lashes just like yours. I have found that using a thinner lash and not going too long in length works really well with your kind of lashes. Your lash will go along with the curve of the lashes. They look really great once done and most opt out of using mascara.
